Hi All,
Are there any internet sites or freeware that I can access to check the
speed of my 2.8 GHz Pentium? I have both a desktop and a laptop with the
same speed processor and the laptop seems much slower, so I would like to
check the speed. Thanks!

Check the documentation for your laptop. Some mobile
processors retard speed automatically as a power-saving
device when operating on battery power.
