How do you make a check mark to put in a cell? For instance, I have made a spreadsheet, but how do I make checks to check off the list that I have made?

You could use checkboxes off of the Forms toolbar.

Format the cells to the WingDings2 font, and simply type an upper case
(capital) P, or upper case (capital) R.
