I had a major foul up after installing a new program and had to a recovery.
Things seem to be fine, except for check disk keeps coming up on every reboot
on my I: Drive. I have let it scan the disk several times and it is not
telling me of any errors but yet it will not stop doing this on reboot. How
can I get it to stop? Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

Here is the advice prvided to me in an earlier post..

Run "chkntfs /d" from a command prompt to turn off the dirty bit that sets
chkdsk to run.

Hope it works as well for you as it did for me. :)

Cheers,

Brian

Thanks for the suggestions, I had googled it and searched MS Support and
wasn't able to find anything.....so thanks for the direction, I'm off to
Kelly's.
