3 things to check:
1 - Try to upgrade your Yahoo! Instant Messenger.
2 - Delete all of your Temporary Internet Files and
Cookies. (sometimes when you've hit your limit on 'tifs'
the browser will get picky about what you can access)
3 - If all else fails...you may have a firewall and/or
proxy issue. Go to your YIM, and select Logon. Then choose
Preferences. You'll see a screen with categories on the
left, and details on the right. Choose the "connections"
category and read the instructions there. You may have to
reset your YIM to use proxies. Yahoo Instant Messenger
automatically assumes that you are using no proxies and
may result in blocking some of it's own services...such as
chat.
