Charts in e-mails

I often need to illustrate an e-mail with a chart and the obvious thing is of
course to copy it from the spreadsheet and paste it directly into the e-mail.
However, this is not possible so I must:
- open an empty Word-document
- select paste special
- choose enhanced metafile
- paste the chart into the document
- copy the new chart from Word
- paste this into the e-mail
Quite awful, so I would like to know if there is a more smart solution? Or
is it just one more of these program incompatibilities?

Use Word as the message editor in Outlook.
