Hello,

I need to take three different line charts and put them together and be able
to simply see the plot on each one. Think of it as putting three different
transparencies on top of one another for a presentation. Three different
groups produced each chart but they have to do with the same
subject(precipitation, temperature). I am teaching charting and excel to
high school students but this is a bit out of the realm of the curriculum,
but it will certainly be a good skill to know...if it is easy enough.

Thanks so much

I figured it out. I copy the chart from excel into powerpoint. I can then
adjust transparency and place each chart over one another to compare temp.
and precip. for different climatic regions. Very cool stuff. Thanks
anyways.

Hi,

You might find the information in this helpful.
http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/AlignCharts.html

Although I can not see any reason why you can not plot the 3 lines in
the same chart. Try dragging the data cells for one chart into another.
This should then add a second line.
Or use the Source data dialog to add more data series to a chart.

Cheers

Andy,

I could plot all on the graph, however, I teach students that are learning
disabled and the need the graphical representation of each step. Thanks for
the website.
