Chart deck is too big

I prepared a PowerPoint presentation by 'cutting and pasting' numerous
charts and tables from Excel. Everything worked fine and the charts
look good. My problem is the deck of 30 slides is 48MB!!! I sispect
it has something to do with the linking to Excel. Is there a way to
'un-link' all the Excel files so the deck is smaller?

Tony,

If you select the pasted in excel charts....click the "draw menu" then choose "un-group" this will help
