Character Map question

When copying characters from Character Map onto either a Word or Wordpad
document I notice the size is 13 point...and in my e-mail prog 14 point
irrespective of the size of the other text.
I know it easy to reduce the size after downloading to the 10 point or 12
point size I usually use...but anyone know how to preset the size if this is
possible?

I researched that a while back and came up blank. The only way is the way
you have mentioned.

I do not know about WordPad.
In Word 2003 Insert, Symbol will insert the selected character from
Character Map in the font size you are using -- at least it does for me.
