Does anyone know how to change a user's name in windows
xp and change the users documents and settings name too?
As an example, I've set up a user and john smith. The
user has ammassed numerous docuemnts and specific changes
to his computer. I need to change the user to conform
with our corporate naming policy his new name will be
jsmith. We are using windows server 2003 for small
business. The name that the server sees continues to be
john smith not jsmith. I assume that is because his
original user name is being sent to the server instead of
his new name. Any suggestions to completely rename a
user?
