Changing User Folder Name

I recentlly changed my user name using Control Panle -> User Accounts. When I look at the my folder under C:/Documents and Settings though, it still has the old name. The system variable %USERNAME% returns the old name also. Is there a way to change this?

i would, create new user and delete the old one.

Greetings --

User profile folders _cannot_ be renamed. Simply create a new
user account with the name you want, and allow it to create a new user
profile folder with the desired name. Then copy the files and
settings you want to keep from the old profile and delete it.
