Using Outlook 2002 on a WinXP system.

I want to add to the "other" category on my outlook bar a link to Word.
Can't figure out how to do it. When I follow the directions given in the
help file, I can only seem to be able to link to a folder, not a file within
that folder.

Is there a way to do this? Thanks.

Try making a shortcut to Word.exe and putting it on your desktop. Then drag it from your desktop into the Outlook Bar.

I don't understand what's going on -- the first time I tried it, it didn't
work. I decided to try it again this evening, and it worked like magic.
Exactly what I needed!

Thanks so much.
