changing the letter assignment of the internal harddrive

I recently had a new harddrive installed and the installer assigned it the letter "F". Some applications will
only look for "C" Drive designations when installing. How do I change it ? Will I have additional problems
as a result ?

The only way to change it without causing other pain is to format the hard
drive and reinstall. Unplug your zip drive when you reinstall.
