Changing text in subject line

In Outlook you are able to highlight the subject line and change the
description - particularly helpful when there is no subject or if it was a
forwarded message. Is this possible in Outlook express? I can highlight
but cannot type any changes / modifications.

I don't know about OE, but you can't edit the subject of a received message
in Windows Mail.

With Visa, you are in "Windows Mail", not "Outlook Express".
Yes you can change the topic, but only AFTER you choose forward or reply.
Until then it is not your message.
