I'm currently running Outlook XP and Exchange 5.5. I created mandatory user
profiles for the end users. Basically their desktop and all their settings
are replaced with a generic one every time they reboot. They click on an
outlook profile every time they log in from the mandatory users profile.
When they click on the outlook profile file (outlook.prf), they will get a
message every time saying "
The location messages are delivered to has changed for this user profile. To
complete this operation, you may need to copy the contents of the old
Outlook folders to the new Outlook folders. For information about how to
complete the change of your mail deliver location, see Microsoft Outlook
Help.
Some of the shortcuts on the Outlook Bar may no longer work. Do you want
Outlook to recreate your shortcuts? All shortcuts you have created will be
removed."
I understand the basics of why it thinks this is a new outlook environment
for the user. If I click on ok, it will open the correct e-mail profile and
everything looks great. My only goal is to make it not show this message.
Is there an easy way to remove this message. Is there a file in the default
user profile that is signalling this message or a registry setting I can
change?
Thanks
