Hi. I recently bought a new computer and added my full
name on of the first screens promted. Now, when I open
files or files are sent to the Documents and Settings
folder my full name appears. It appears as the following:

C:Documents and Settings/John Doe/My Documents...

I would really like to NOT have my name, John Doe, for
example, to not be seen in this directory. Can you
please tell me how I can go about changing this issue and
resolving this problem. Can you please email a reponse
back at (e-mail address removed) so I can follow your
directions. Thank you.

Oh, thank God, a non RPC, non 32-or-64 bit question!

If it's just the Documents and Settings/My Documents bit you're worried
about, right click My Documents (from the desktop) and, in properties, you
can change the directory they go to. (To just plain "Documents," if you
want, assuming the directory exists.) It'll even ask if you want to move
your current documetns there.

If you have to ask if your copy of XP is 32 or 64 bit, it's 32.
