I've asked this question before.

This time, I promise to write down the instructions and store them in a
place I can find next time.

But, how do I change where Outlook looks for the data file?

Thanks,

Bill Allen

If you move a PST file while Outlook is closed, it will prompt you for the
location the next time you start it up

Thanks, Vince. That method works.
In my case, when I re-install MS Office, it creates a PST file, but not
where I want it. I just deleted it and it asked me for the location of the
PST file (as you suggested it would) and I pointed to the file I wanted it
to use. This is much simpler than the other way I was trying to use (and
couldn't remember).

Bill Allen
