Hi.
My laptop was stolen recently, and I had to purchase a new one in emergency.
The problem is... as I had to purchase it in Italy, all the dialogs are in
Italian (Op Sys, Explorer, etc.).

Is there a way by which I can change that to good ol' English?

Many thanks for your help.

Marco

Windows XP is written in specific language versions, therefore one
cannot change it from one language version to another. You'll need
to purchase a "Full Version" of Windows XP in the language version
you desire, reformat your drive and install it "clean".

Or if you have an available empty drive or partition, you can install
another "Full Version" of Windows XP in a different language version
and create a dual-boot configuration.

A good third-party partitioning program is Partition Magic 8.

No, not without installing a new copy of XP in English. You can not
even upgrade the Italian copy to English. Why not take the laptop
back to the store where you purchased it and ask them to exchange it
for one that has a copy of XP in English - if possible.
