Have recently changed job and brought my old laptop. Used Outlook 2003 for
email, calendar, etc and had emails syncronised onto laptop. Connected laptop
to new computer domain and now I can't access my old emails. I have tried to
import them, etc. but no luck. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Is there a profile directory in the Documents and Settings folder for the
old user/domain combo?

Hi Vince,

Yes, under C:\Documents and Settings there is a folder which would appear to
contain my old documents, pictures, etc. (For your info I am using MS Outlook
2003 SP1 and WIN XP Pro). In C:\Documents and Settings\Pat\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook I found a big Office Data File,
(just under 1Mb), called Outlook which I assumed was my old emails etc. I
tried to open it using Outlook but I get an error message saying "The file
you chose is not an Outlook Data File. You must select a file of this type."

Am i in the right area??

Regards

Pat.

Hi Kathleen,

I have found 2 such files. a rather large OST file, 1Mb, and small PST file.
