Changing from Outlook Express6 to Outlook2000

I was using Outlook Express 6. I then ran Outlook 2000 and it imported all my
settings and folders. The problem is that a lot of messages in various
folders do not have the date & time of transmission or receipt therefore I
cannot sort by date.
How should I have imported them ? or can I manually place the correct date
and time stamp on these messages? If I import again it duplicates all the
messages in my Outlook folders. If it is possible to set up the import to
have a date and time (by setting up the import correctly) then I will need to
prevent the duplications. HELP

You should have exported them from within Outlook Express. That would have
preserved the dates. You can always remove them from Outlook and transfer
them again.

Not that I'm aware
If I import again it
duplicates all the messages in my Outlook folders.

So delete them first.
