Hi there,

I set up my Outlook in corporate mode, but want to change it to Internet.

Is there any issues (data loss) in changing from one to the other???

It's mainly so I can have multiple send addresses.

Cheers

Steven

Just a word of warning. After I tried this in Outlook 97, the program
refused to start and I still can't get it to work despite having uninstalled
and reinstalled it several times.

Of course. Outlook 97 only had one mode. There was never an option for IMO
mode in Outlook 97.

Since Corporate Mode will do whatever Internet Only Mode can do (with two
exceptions: no IMAP and no integration with Windows Address Book), why
change back?

He already told you: So he can select the sending account on the fly.
Also, for users who needed only simple Internet transports, Corp/Workgroup
was a dinosaur. Who wants to consume their entire system resources and stare
endlessly and the "Sending and Receiving" dialog every single time they poll
for mail?

Thanks guys, I'll weigh it up and see how I go

Cheers
