From the Internet Explorer Tools menu, select Internet Options...
The Internet Options dialog box will appear.

If it is not already selected, select the General tab

Click FONTS...

did not change the font for my Windows Explorer.

another quick question.

Each dialog box displayed on my monitor has very small fonts...where can I
change those settings....
