My XP has two drives and the second one is partitioned.
The drive letters C & F & G. D & E are CD-ROM drives. How
can I change it so that the two partitions are D & E and
the two CD-ROMs are F & G? Will changing the drive
letters mess up program targets that point to the
original drives?

Go to run,type:diskmgmt.msc
In the new window,L.click a drive,action,all,select,
change drive letter/path
C: would be a mistake, the other hd depends how much is
already written to them,if storage use,no problem.
