Hello,

When I press Ctrl-O, Media Player opens its default folder in program
files/mediaplayer .

How do I change its default directory to something else ie MyDocuments/My
Music ?

Cheers,
Wylye

Hi

Open a file from the folder where ever your WMP files are. Then try Ctrl-O
again - it should open at that last folder.

Wylye,

As Will said. WMP stores the last opened folder (if a music file is played) here:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\Settings

In the "OpenDir" key.
