Changing Computer Names Remotely

I am in a position that I need to change a few computer names on my network
remotely. Does anyone have an idea on how this can be accomplished using
Window 2000?

You can install a remote control agent like VNC to do it.

They say that you'll need to run this locally but maybe you can adapt it to
your needs.
