CHANGING A PDF DOC SO I CAN READ IT?

I've got a cd rom which explains how to set up a usb cable from my mobile to
my computer. When I've clicked onto the usb intallation help it opens a pdf
word doc which I can't understand. I know its not a very technical question,
but how do I change the text so its readable?
 
"PDF Word doc" makes no sense. If it's a PDF, it's not a Word doc. Download
the Acrobat reader if you don't have it already (it's free from Adobe, and
also supplied on many software CDs) and read the file with that.
