I have two computers..the host is running XP and the other is 98SE which I ran the xp networking on it to share files, printers, etc. They are linked thru a cable router
I am going to upgrade the 98se to xp but how do I change the settings on my current xp machine to reflect the upgraded computer. I am going to completely wipe out the hard drive and start from scratch with a few new additions to the hardware. So what I need to know is how do I make my XP machine quite showing the 98se computer drives...namely c and d... I already just removed the shared printer but don't know how to safely remove the drive letters and such that it shows.

To remove the old computer's drives from My Network Places, right
click and delete them.
