Changes not being saved in shared workbook

Hi all,

I am having a problem whereby changes that are being made on a shared
workbook by one user are not being picked up by other users either when the
autosave or the share changes option save the workbook nor is it saving when
users manually save the file.

Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be?

I have the same problem with me it is in office 2003. Do you use the same
version of excel

Are the users accessing the document remotely? We had the same problem
for one of our offices and it turned out to be a VPN issue.
 
Hi,

We are not using a VPN or any other remote access. We are locally connected
by a sbs 2003 server.

In this specific workbook there are working 3 people at the same time.
Everyone is working in a different sheet(dont know or that is the correct
word).

The strange thing is some of the changes are saved and some are not
