Is it possible to re-sort the default folders in Outlook 2002. This is a corporate setting, using Exchange 2000 server.

The folders are listed in alphabetical order (it ignores the word Mailbox
for the root folders)

Hi Roady... Is it at all possible to change the order of folders besides alpha? We're moving from GroupWise to Exchange and some of our users like to have frequently-used folders at the top of the list..

For example: GroupWise has a folder called Cabinet that gets imported when a user is migrated to Exchange. The folder structure in GropupWise is as follows
Cabine
2006 Civic Propshaf
Released Order
Abnormal Engineering Result
ISO:9001 Audit
and so fort

In Outloook 2003, they show up this way
Cabine
-another folder
-another folder
-another folder
-another folder
2006 Civic Propshaf
-another folder
-another folder
-another folder
-another folder
-another folder
-another folder
-another folder
Abnormal Engineering Result
-another folder
-another folder
ISO:9001 Audit

You get the idea... Is it possible to have them ordered the GroupWise way

Thanks
Joe

Hi Joe,

When you are in Mail Navigation your users can set Favorites which will be
displayed above your folder structure.
Another way to go is to use the Shortcuts Navigation in which they can
create their own structure and sorting based on shortcuts to the folders.

If they have only several folders they should actually watch then using the
Favorites in the Mail Navigation looks like the way to go here.

Regards,
