Change the name of the Windows Xp folder

I need help.... how can I change the name of the Windows XP folder...? I
don't wont to use any tweal program or anithing similar.. I wont to do it
manually.

You can't change it without reinstalling windows. Why do you want to change
it anyway?

You would need to entirely reinstall. I must second the question in the
other reply - why on earth would you want to do this anyway? :-)
 
I want for personal purpose.... but you said to me tah this it's not posible

Change the name, and Windows wont work.

You know, I must have installed WinXP hundreds of times, and I've never
seen the option to name the %Windir% folder. where and/or how does one
do this? (I remember the option in older operating systems, but not WinXP.)

Yep, I've noticed that, too.....I haven't lost a lot of sleep over it, but
I've noticed it. :)

If one have WinXP installed on a FAT32 partition, and dualboot with
another Windows or Linux one can change the
Childish/Corporate/Lawyer-style very annoying "WINDOWS" to the more easy
on the eye "Windows".
