I want every folder to be showing it's items in "details" however the 'Apply
To All Folders' button in the Folder Options is found to be inactive.
Your expertise and guidance shall be appreciated.
Thanx in advance.

From where are you trying to click the Apply To All Folders button?

1. Open an Explorer window such as My Documents or My Computer.
2. Set things the way you like.
3. From the menu above, click Tools>Folder Options>View tab. That's where
you should be clicking the Apply To All Folders button.

If you are doing the above, then you need to post back and tell us if this
is your own standalone computer, one that belongs to a company, whether it
is a domain member or not, and what changed between the time things worked
and the time they didn't.

Just as I suspected. Glad that you got things sorted. Thanks for taking the
time to let me know.
