Hi,

I have a lot of programs open at all times, and I want to be able to
change the default size of the program buttons on the taskbar. Does
anyone know how to do this?

All replies appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

Decrease the Size of the Taskbar Buttons (Line 97)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

To make them even smaller modify the edit.

Cool Thanks Kelly, thats exactly what i'm looking for! For anyone else
who wants to try it, if you right click on the 'taskbaricons.vbs'
file, and click 'Edit', you can chabge how big or small they are...
Works a treat.

Does anyone know if this would work with Windows 2000?

Most welcome. I don't have W2K installed right now to verify. Just check
the path and modify accordingly.
Hmm, the file did not work, however I haev narrowed it down to a registry entry in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics\

but does anyone know exactly which one to alter?

thanks

Hi

Same as Kelly - I don't have W2K installed ATM, but the value of that particular key could be pixels, X-Y co-ordinates or twips. You will have work out which is appropriate to be able to edit that key.
