Hi
My Laptop has a 100 GB HD. Using Vista Ultimate I made C: Partition with
75GB (thereof 66GB used) and D: with 25GB (5 used). However adding all files
on C: adds up to only approx. 30GB. Where or what are the remaining 36GB
unidentifiable? I need more space on C:

Did you count the hidden/system files?

There'll be a few gigs under "c:\system volume information" too.

Hi Travis
no I cannot access properties to view number and size of system volume info
files

You're not meant to, that's system restore information. You can clear
restore points up to the current one if you're sure you won't need to go
back to them, that might free up some space.
