Hi. How is it possible to change the way Notepad's F5 is presenting today's
date & time ( I would like to use this as a quick way of picking up
yyyy.MM.dd HH.mm to use as a part of any document I save) ?

It is now like this: HH.mm yyyy.MM.dd

I would like to have it like this: yyyy.MM.dd HH.mm

(as I have checked out, it can't be done through 'Regional and Language
Options')

Thanks in advance, JohS

Notepad adds Time/Date. Time first then the Date.

As close as you're gonna get to

yyyy.MM.dd HH.mm

is

HH.mm yyyy.MM.dd

You can &d &t for headers and/or footers.

Insert the date. &d

Insert the time specified by your computer's clock. &t

Notepad | File | Page Setup

You can print information at the bottom of each page in the file. To have
Notepad print information in the footer, use the letter and character
combinations in the following table.

You can print information at the top of each page in the file. To have
Notepad print information in the header, use the letter and character

To Type
