System D-Link DSL 604 wireless ADSL Router
3 PC's (2 x XP Pro 1 x win 2k)

Under Entire Network/ MS Window Network/ PC Name I recently logged on to one
of the networked machines using a user name from a user in the Power user
group. I should have logged on to it under the admin username, but did not
for some reason!!

The log on name is being remembered, but I want to log on as a different
user in the admin group and not as a Power user. I would actually want to
have it set up so it asks for a log on name each time. How is this done?
This is to log on across the network to access shared files etc, not logging
on directly at that console.

Create passwords for all your accounts.

All got passwords!!

OK, I'm confused, sorry - didn't read your original post carefully enough.
You can't log into a remote PC across the network like that - you can
*access* it by providing credentials. When you say it 'remembers' the last
username, where are you seeing that? Did you map a drive?

If you run

net use

in a command prompt, do you see anything you don't want? net use * /del
