change headings of topics w/out changing design view

First- I did not set this program up and am slowly teaching myself how to use
it. I am recording archaeological sites in a database and there is a set
heading for each new site that I add. I've tried to change the design view
once I've open an individual site report, but this changes the heading of all
reports. I want to change the heading for one site report without changing
the heading for all of them.
 
You would have to explain the structure of your database. Do you store the
"site" somewhere in the record? If not, it would be difficult to make the
reports more dynamic.

You'll have to explain a little bit about your database. Where is this
"heading" stored? What table? or is it constant text in the Report?
What is the Recordsource of this report?
