I have an access database application that was written or converted to Access
2000. One file has the forms and macros and runs like an application and it
points to another mdb file that is the actual database. The problem I have
is that when I log on to the system, it gives me an error message that says
3051 The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file \\silo.... It
is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view
its data.
I believe that somewhere in the code, the program is referencing the wrong
file. I want to change it but the problem is is that the application quits
once I say okay. Does any one know how to stop the application from running
so that I can just look and somehow change the DB location?
