Change Author

I asked this question earlier, but no-one replied. My husband died last
year. I would like to know how I can change the name of "Author" in
properties in Word and Access and "Modified by" in FrontPage folder view
etc. so that it shows only my name please? I am finding it quite upsetting
to see both our names there. Thanks to anyone who bothers to reply.

You may want to ask your question in

Open that document (eg. Word document) and change the Author under
File > Properties. Make also sure that your name appears under
Tools > Options > User information tab (example: Word). It's not clear
to me why you didn't follow that simple procedure yet. Therefore:

[F'up to: microsoft.public.office.misc]
 
The easiest way is to press F1 in the application and Look up "Change
Author" click the link, and follow the instructions.
