Change and widow/orphan default off

How do I, can I, set the widow / orphan default to be off
so that for each new document the widow/orphan setting us
unchecked.
 
Modify your Normal style by clicking on Format | Styles and Formatting |
<select Normal style> | Modify | Format | Paragraph | Line and Page
Breaks | uncheck the "Widow/orphan control" box | OK | check the "Add to
template" box | OK. If you have other styles that have this option
explicitly turned on (as opposed to inheriting this setting from being
based on the Normal style), modify them in the same way. If you are
prompted to save your Normal.dot template when you close Word, say yes.
