Change a users Password

Our IT guy is unavailable today and we need to change one of the Directors Passwords so we can get on to his system.

Unfortunately, although the director that sorts out general problems without the need for the IT guy has full admin control over the server, he has never had to change a users passeord before.

We are running Windows 2000 server.

ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

This is like being unable to open the safe while the
cashier is away. You have to set up appropriate
procedures to deal with the situation.

Okay. Make sure you are logged on as Admin. click start,
go to control panel and then users and passwords. double
click this go under the advanced tab, click on the next
advanced tab, click on users, then right click on admin or
any other account, click on properties and that will allow
you to do a great many things. Good luck.
