challenging question

hi guys, this is my problem:


in column A: vehicle no ( there are 10 vehicles)
column B: start km
column c : end km
clm D: km travelled
in clumn e: date
in clm f : tyre replacement: 1,2,3,4,5 (can choose and number is th
location of the tyres)

now i wan to use a formula to return the cumulative distance travelle
by a vehicle when tyre of the same location is changed.(e.g locatio
1).

i wan to know how long a tyre ( for a certain location ) can last afte
travelling for how many kilometres. (and it have to be the same vehicl
no!)

can any one help me on this

ok some questions!!
do you or can you list more than 1 tyre location at the same time,and is the
'start KM and end km reset at the tyre change or do you need a new /separate
cell for the km at tyre change.....and will you therefore have a seperate km
box for each tyre???

okie ... sorry that i did not describe the question carefully.Here it
goes!


these informations are actually key in daily.And if we assume that
today, one

vehicle request for a tyre change. So the driver will key (in the tyre
replacement

column) the location that he needs the change. So i need a formula to
check

when was the last time that particular vehicle has changed a tyre (
with the

same location).The result should return the km the vehicle has
travelled during

the changing of the tyres interval. The start km and end km will not
reset as it is

key in by the drivers based on their gauge after the tyres have been
changed.

So can this question be solved with a formula?

result :112-67=

The key to this problem is that if one month later, x1234 has tyre
change at 1 and the end km is recorded at 250( e.g) The result wil be
250-112

Challenging? Hope someone can help me...
