I need to change the Win2k server Domain Name, and
Computer name, but I can´t, is there anything to do?

Ever heard of a tool called fdisk...:)

You need to uninstall Active Driectory on all DC:s, change computer
name, install Active Directory again with a different domain name.

Or upgrade to Windows Server 2003 and all DC:s and then rename the
domain using the new tools in Windows Server 2003 (unless, of course,
you have Exchange in your Organization)

Domain name change:
If you're in Native mode - then no, unless you upgrade to Windows Server
2003. If you have Exhange on the network rendom.exe won't work. And you
should know that renaming a domain is not a task you should take light upon,
even if there is a tool in Windows Server 2003.

If you're in mixed mode, see this article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q292541

You can define new UPN suffixes in AD Domains and Trusts snap-in, but you'll
need to change your current users to use it. This way users will believe
that you've renamed your AD and in most cases that's sufficient.

Jimmy: Do you have any idea when Microsoft will allow domain renames in W2003 w/ exchange installed. It seems like they gave us the hamburger bun but no beef; most organizations have exchange.

Look for this feature to possibly appear in a "release that is not to be
named".
