Centralizing Outlook 2003 Signatures

We make heavy use of e-mail signatures in word and wordmail.
Is there a way of forcing Outlook to lookl at a centralized repository for
e-mail signatures (txtx, rtf, html) instead of having them downloaded to

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\Signatures

It is a REAL pain to contantly update this directory manually and either a
reistry hack or add on program to point them to the right place would be
great.
Thanks

You can change the name of the final folder "Signatures" in the registry, I
believe, but it will always be under %AppData%\Microsoft. Of course, for
Windows XP (and maybe others), you can change the folder %AppData% points
to.

But Brian does this %APPDATA% vaiable impact other applications and if so
wont setting %APPDATA% to point to a UNC share "break" other Microsoft apps?
If there was a solution that would only impact upon signatures and nothing
else that woudl be preferred.
Thanks

If they look in %AppData% and then you change it, sure, but not if you
change it and then install the program(s).

None that I know.
