Hi,

I'm using a laptop on more than one location and so i'm dealing with more
than one smtp server.
There is a possibilty to add more accounts and send email using them, but
when you read out 4 pop boxes and if your working on 4 different locations.

a central (systemwide) smtp setting would be nice.

for now, i am changing the registry each time for outlook 2003

Are these newsgroups followed by microsoft employees?
This is a future request :-)

This is an unmonitored peer-to-peer support newsgroup. Send feature requests
to (e-mail address removed) and (e-mail address removed).

If you can authenticate to one of your SMTP servers and send thru it, why
not use that server (& required settings) in all 4 POP accounts?

Or, in addition to what Lanwench said, why not use separate profiles for the
4 accounts?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, R. Beemsterboer

For one reason if he is using different ISP's then it is possible
those ISP's are blocking him which is the case with Mindspring and
Bellsouth dialup, you must use their SMTP servers.
