cell linked to a hidden image

I would like to link a scanned photograph to a cell for each record. Is
there a method to have the image hidden in a normal cell until wanting to
view it. Upon viewing the cell would enlarge to the image size. Thanks,

You can't hide pictures in cells - they only exist on the drawing layer
on top of the cells.

You may want to put the images in comments, or you may be able to modify
the technique shown here:
