One way is to use Tools / Options / Calculation / Precision as displayed
Note though, that this setting is global and will affect all sheets, and once
the data has been truncated it is gone

I have a worksheet where the actual number shows 123.456789 in the formula
bar, but displays as 123.46 in the cell. I want the actual number in the
formula bar to be 123.46. I really don't want to use a formula because in the
past it has affected my merge documents. Any suggestions?
