cell data too large

There is a limitation on the amount of data you can in an
Excel cell. If you exceed it, you get the error "cell
data too large." Is there a way to exceed this
limitation?

Length of cell contents (text) 32,767 characters. Only 1,024 display in a cell; all 32,767 display in the formula bar
To my knowledge, there is no way around this but maybe other people have one. If it's not the total number of characters that is causing the problem, check out the help topic to see what the problem is.
