CDRW5224 CD-drive

recently out of the blue,my cd rom stopped working.i have uninstalled,then reinstalled and it gives me this message:Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
it is an A-OPEN 52x24x52 cdrw
P/N : 91.3ED37.01
S/N : 32525262JE
that is all the info i could aquire.hope it will be enough.
