Does anyone know how to edit the registry to allow XP to write to a CD? I
have installed CD Burner Pro and this has caused XP to not write..I believe
there is a change in the registry when you install a third party writer that
does this....

Hi,

did you install the third party software such as Nero to enable writing to
Cd. Without that you cannot write to CDs.

Have you checked that your CD writer is compatible with CD Burner XP Pro? If
not, try:

I don't know the answer to your question about a registry change.

I believe you right click on the drive and choose properties. There should
be a recording tab in properties you can check to allow recording.
