CD Skipping

What's the best way to record a CD without it skipping in car cd player or
in home stereo?
We are using Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Burn it at 12x or slower speed. Many players have problems with the
reflectivity of the disc, if it is burned at a high speed. You can burn data
discs, at full speed.
