Following instructions from a pc mag in order to reuse a cd -rw I get the message "cannot delete read only" what have I done wrong when copying to the cd rw and how can I rectify this problem?? thanks.

Start>Help and Support>Type "erase cd" (without quotes) in Search box>follow
directions.
